All Kids in Motion CS classes are one hour long and are based on four genres of dance: Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip Hop.
Kids In Motion uses multiple Colorado Content Standards including:
*K-Standard 1-Movement technique and performance-a.b.c.
*1st-Standard 2-Create compose and choreograph-a.b.c.
*5th-Standard 1-Develop and increase dance skills in multiple genres

CURRENTLY OFFERING FIVE CLASSES A WEEK

 We have changed the Kids in Motion CS schedule slightly to accommodate Covid protocals. Currently we are meeting Saturday mornings* at Cottonwood Center for the Arts. Space is limited so please contact us for openings. Performances are based on Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip Hop genres.

A portion of class fees are funded by grants, so students are only charged $3 by the class or $21 for a seven week session. There is an additional $10 fee for jazz pants that the students wear for performances. Please see Mrs. Carlson for sizes and payment for pants. Hip Hop students need plain black sweat pants to wear in performances.
